Well that’s not what I wrote – b++++y auto-correct! What I wrote was “Ginger Biccy time”. For they, you see, are donkeys favourites! If you think a donkey is ill, try tempting him/her with a ginger, if they are intested then they are not as ill as you might fear. If they escape then a ginger will tempt them back in, or at least you can use as a reward. Want to worm a donkey? – easy, just put the worming paste between two gingers – hey presto! All swallowed.
So, at about five-o’clock each evening I prepare their beds for the night and spread a good thickness of miscanthus absorbent and comfortable bedding. They are curious and cannot quite see over the half-closed stable door. It seems rude not to give them a treat!
