There’s no traffic on the A470, so it is probably closed northbound, and it is closed southbound at Builth Wells.  Large HGVs are using roads from which they are normally banned.  Here, the groundwater has risen but is static, and the rain has stopped, albeit probably temporarily.

And Joan, in the sunny uplands of Llandod, is fine and well!
