The morning after storm Austen and the river has barely risen. Could be that there was insufficient rain, although Apple weather (as was Dark Skies) says we received 11mm. The river is relatively clear indicating that it is composed largely of rain water. Normally after that quantity the river is faster flowing, has risen maybe three feet, and is mud (or run-off) coloured, but it’s none of those things.
