The excursion is booked…

the picnic is planned, the pacamac is stowed, the folding rain hat has been stretched and re-folded, the seats have been booked next to the charabanc driver so all that remains is set the alarm and get up!

Joan asked for a trip out, and after deliberating the chosen venue was the Wyevale nursery or plain old-fashioned garden centre.

There’s plenty of space there, for her go-cart and ample social distancing, the retail offer was very good and should be improved since Blue Diamond group took them over, and they do a good cheese scone (even if the customer service could be a bit less “canteen” like).

This one has been a good one also because it was the first that Mr Wye and Mr Vale opened back in the sixties. All we need now is decent weather!
