Five weeks in and we have taken the hard decision to return her to the rescue charity. She is an absolute poppet but there is a mismatch between her and us which if we persist will, we believe, make us all a bit unhappy.
She has overcome most of her anxieties, well done her and us, but she is jealous of the attention the other animals get, and is supplementing her diet with squirrels. The animals are now much more relaxed, and, it has to be said, so are we. Bon voyage, Tinker Taylor, you are an absolute one-off.
