Polytunnel digest…

Garlic is good for the digestion; right? It had better be because, apart from liking it, we have decided to master in it next year. On to the Garlic Farm website (Isle of Wight based – been there, done that? No? Take a look, take a lunch, take a night off there) and we ordered a few packs up.

Our seedling ideas for next year are to major in garlic and chillies, those being must-have elements of most of our meals, leaving other veg to Mr Tesco to sell to us. Apart from tomatoes, which were bountiful this year. Oh! And potatoes with which we excelled, but outdoors in containers rather than in the polytunnel. Oh, again, our usual Sprouts and leeks – but inside or outside, we’ve a way to go yet until decision time.

Back to garlic, and our Autumn sowing is underway, and even sprouting!
