Ludditeism…

Or the hatred of the new or innovative is not something we are renowned for, in fact, I think that our inclination is quite the opposite. Except for AI.

We have been singularly unmotivated by our phones promising us untold wonders and saved hours and untaxed brain power being reserved by them doing our everyday tasks. Something as simple as a heartfelt note of sympathy for a bereavement can be magically produced guaranteed to be politically correct and sensitively handled. Er… OK, we have done the latter, unless you have received one, in which case our apology and our excuse will be conjured up at the press of a digit. In short, couldn’t see the need, or the benefits, or the reason for the hype.

But the press of said digit produced this…

Three goes into two quite easily (the original had Sandie holding both glasses whilst I fumbled with a selfie, AI generously gave me a glass in the name of equity!).

And this…

Miraculously ten years younger and not a No. 7 revitaliser in sight.

We are sold…!
