Hot weather on the way, and we don’t like it. We generally don’t stop, there’s always jobs to be done, animals to clean and feed etc. But… occasionally, just occasionally the idea of a sit down and a kindle read is attractive, nay, overwhelming. However, we don’t have garden furniture, nor garden loungers.
Nevertheless, the cost-effective solution is upon us, the good old-fashioned seaside deckchair! Obvs. Innit? Thoughts assailed me of lazy days watching the never changing view of the sea, and making the most of the thruppence each they cost (so make the most of it).
Observation though, isn’t it hard to adjust to the correct height? Only three options, but never the correct one. Which leads me on to the question; how does one get out of it (with some majesty/dignity/aplomb/without giving a passable imitation of a spider on its back)?
Not like I remember from holidays of yore but I had bar marks on the back of my legs though, quite different from the bar marks I acquired later in life.
