Shown courtesy of RSPB. The local twitterati have mentioned a sighting upstream from us, and now we have had two sightings today. The first was with a Heron and the two were definitely seeing eye to eye, or not, as of course they are competitors in the food chain. Useful sighting though as the two showed clearly the relative sizing of the pair, so it was definitely not a Little Egret.
