It’s not over ‘till…
the autumn equinox. Summer that is, but this morning the mist rolled in and left its dew on the spider’s webs. But the foxgloves still show it’s summer. Just out of the picture are a dozen male Goosanders.

The weather hasn’t been spectacularly hot with unbroken skies, but it has been dry… A quick look round the pretty bits.
Veg galore
Over winter we refurbished half the raised beds, and put three tons of topsoil on them. We also have properly used the greenhouse after clearing it out. Not endless sunny days this year, but still very dry.
