Yellow, white and blue

This is on the river bank. The much vaunted daffodils of Wales really do gather and glow yellow…

in groups, swathes and couples they wave in the early year winds. Less talked about are the humble dandelion which coat the roadside verges in carpets of bright…

Yellow, then in white as the seed heads form. Following on from this is the lowly Bluebell

They sit on the verges singly, or with a few mates, then rounding a bend in the road, there’s a melè going on. There’s a mixture of native Welsh ones, and the blousy Spanish/EU ones, but the most magnificent ones are the natives.
