What was that all about?
Morning campers. A light dusting, thick and heavy, marooned for days, depending on who you are select an appropriate description. Tax man please opt for the latter, those seeking post -truth truth, select the former. Others seeking dramatic recognition (Auntie’s celebrity weather presenters) select the middle one. All in all a dose of reality and picturesque views and, yes, a runny nose.
Maybe half an inch or so in the garden, but up on the main road, maybe an inch or so, and on the tops – who knows, too far to take a look!
Off to the post first thing.

By the back gate

Chickens slightly reluctant to come out.

Overall the weather hasn’t been too bad. Just ordered the logs for tomorrow from the other side of the Beacons, and the roads are quite clear. There are high winds which we can hear, and the noise and whistling through the trees is a bit scary, but down at Wye level, we are protected at least from the Northerlies. Go up the track, or to the wood at the top of the garden, and you begin to feel it buffet you.
