Wet feet

OK, let’s not dwell on this, I fell in the Wye,  I know, act your age, “I told you not to get wet feet” – my mother used to tell me, but it’s true, let’s get it out there – I was jumping from clump to clump and fell in!

Left boot = 1.5 pints, right one = damp lining. Left foot wet and squelchy, but then the more you walk, the warmer it became. It’s a bit like wetting the bed in reverse! I went to look at the river after the latest surge…
