hospital, in Llandrindod Wells. An imposing building when first it was built but added to over the years it is now an amorphous blob of brick.

The entrance hall is very impressive with the names of those lost inscribed on tall panels covering the fire place. (What is it with you and entrances!? – Ed).

What is it with Victorian entrance halls, particularly those country houses with guests, that roast you within an inch of your life and the rest of the house particularly the bedrooms are so cold they had to spend the night with someone other than…. (So he’s been told-Ed

The inside with all the additions just leads to open spaces and empty rooms
This one’s full though with Chinese made equipment complete with micro/chips reporting the state of my health directly to Xi Jinping.
