Very low river levels…

The river is now at summer levels, and is very low.  This morning there were two Canada Geese standing in the middle honking away with their haunting sounds.  We need rain!  The level is now at about -1.5 ft. below the normal.  Avid readers will remember the surge in February as reading 8ft above normal.  The recent north winds have dried the ground surface and put a crust on it, so any rain that may fall will skate off the top as it falls.  On that point, Weather Pro HD shows no rain before 21st April.
