Yup, we got one… didn’t know. Coming up to three years since we moved here and it’s flowering for the first time.

It is a form of Magnolia and according to the RHS (very unimpressive) web site it is on the endangered list.

I wonder which particular set of weather conditions over the last twelve months or more have collided to spur this lovely tree to fruition?
