Strange thing is the number of caravans being towed by white vans, or pickups. Reason? No hotels available! On that point it has just taken me 15 minutes to get out of the track on to the road, then navigate the traffic to get back. A steady stream going South to the show. The traffic gets taken off to go to park and ride – more fields put over to parking. The whole community gets involved – B&Bs springing up, bar staff overnighting and then working all day in their day jobs. Amazingly one bar in Builth takes £20,000 per night.
