The DIY guide to painting

Been on my mind for a while to paint the woodwork on the front of the cottage.  Easy bits above the window, but what about above the porch?  Can’t reach from the ladder, so need to have a crawling board that doesn’t slip down the roof.  Got It!  I need a roof ladder with a curly bit on the end to secure it over the ridge.

Seems to have gone wrong, that’s not what I envisaged!

A lot of juggling and sorted. I can now send Sandie up there to finish the job: I do like to think she’ll be safe!  You didn’t expect me to do it did you?
