After a long illness our lovely Silkie (Tonic – sister of Gin) passed away in her sleep on Tuesday night. In her heyday she was a very vocal girl letting everyone know that she had laid ….

Also a bit of a shock but yesterday Mango, a buff pekin, who was fine all day suddenly took herself off into the coop and promptly died of a heart attack!!!
And the third…….

So that leaves Marmite the cockerel and Lilly (who was originally paired with Pickle – get it?) on their own in a large coop so guess what we will be doing – yes adopting some new friends.
