Post Doris – Pre Felicity

We have now had a couple of weeks of rain courtesy of Doris and Ewen.  Even last night, we had a feeling that Felicity (or whatever the next one is called – it will be female, and start with an F) was about to descend.  High winds and rain and a weather warning of high winds overnight until tomorrow lunchtime.  This morning has dawned brightly but with a weak sun, so more rain later today.

Snowdrops galore

We are feeling fed up ’cause we cant get out properly, the donks are also fed up ’cause of the same, but at least they had a pedicure yesterday.  Alyn, the Farrier, arrived with an eight month old golden lab to do their feet (the donks, not the occupants of the van – do keep up).  An enormous strapping man who is due to take over the role of the world’s tallest now that whatsisname recently died.  He is driving a Peugeot Partner (for the uninitiated probably the smallest van ever) in the back he has a complete forge.  Luckily the donks don’t need shoes, but they need their feet trimming every 10 weeks or so.  We are supposed to clean out their feet regularly, but that might be a step too far (pun). But Spring is springing and the buds are budding and the birdies are making birdies, or at least they are marking territory.  When the sun is more up we will get more daffs photos.
