One Swallow …

… and most of the glass is gone!  Ooops, sorry, wrong Swallow.  Our first sighting of our favourite birds.  In Hampshire they used to swoop over the watercress beds in magnificent displays; but usually towards the end of the month – 20th plus.

Courtesy of RSPB.

Earlier here, but in the same numbers?  We will have to wait and see how many turn up, and which others – Martins, Swifts?  Waiting for the Cuckoo – that would be special!
