Happy Christmas to all our readers…

’tis Christmas day in the workhouse…

We are an hour away from official sun-up, but the day is slowly dawning.  The stars are bright and twinkling and the Milky Way is visible.  This is our fourth Christmas here, and later on I will pick Joan up Llandod for her third.  Sandie has prepped a very large Chicken – it looks superb without any “plumping” or stored water.  Later, we will have the usual treats, fortified coffee and present opening (making a bit of an assumption there!).
