Knock of the door…

figuratively speaking, in fact it was a BT van coming down the track.  “Need to inspect your poles mate” was the request.  All five telegraph poles which carry our all-important broadband connection are thirty years old or so, so every twelve they are inspected.

Result?  The top two, 1 and 2, need replacing sometime in the next two years.  Don’t think about these things when you buy do you?!
