As we enter the (terrific?) twenties, we shouldn’t forget that Joan was born during the “Roaring Twenties” – the big band era.  Sharp as a vinyl needle, stylish as a John Lewis floor walker, smart as a box of frogs, and as on-trend as the most on-trendish person you’ll know, she is fun and funny and shows us all how to grow older gracefully.  We are invited round for a new year’s lunch of turkey and trimmings.

Whilst the meal was prepared, it dawned how lovely a quick retrospective of 2019 might be.
