January over…
Looks like he’s about to have a poo, maybe it’s just the new coat that BigBoy is getting accustomed to. Maybe two inches to mark the end of the month, a light dusting really, not as bad as Hampshire, or indeed Alderholt. Deep enough for the postman to get stuck on the track, so the Jeep had to tow him to the road. Am I not impressed with that vehicle.
January also saw Joan tidying cupboards and drawers, then spend an entire visit to her with her head in said storage locations saying “it’s in here somewhere “!
But Spring isn’t far away, and these two daffodils are it’s harbinger every year, weeks ahead of the main beds. Minus 7 last night, but at 4 this morning it was 6 degrees in the dog’s kennel. The insulation and the heater are working well.
The Osprey has been flying over, the Goshawk has had his work cutout keeping the flocks of thousands of Pigeons culled, and an Otter popped his head up in the river yesterday. We’re now on the lookout for a Salmon head! (See previous posts).
