It’s good to talk…

… at a family gathering. David and Liz (Joan’s Son and in-law) came down to visit her. Sorry, no pics as I forgot. Gathered later at Merryhall, I said that Sandie, Joan and I were here for Christmas, and that I was looking forward to it.

“Mmmmmm”, said David in a mumbled aside to his Mom, “oh! so you’re going to pig it”.

Joan responded sharply with an indignant harrumph, “No, I am not going to peg it”!

They both looked at each other and dissolved into fits of giggles that evolved into one one of “those” laughs, you know, when the sides ache, and just as you’re recovering you recall the wording, and you start laughing all over again. No amount of hand flapping by Joan would make the laughter go away.
