Get the paper

One of the strangenesses around here so far is the sudden freeze; rain overnight or early morning, and a sudden frost about 05.30 in he morning.  The result on Saturday was that it wasn’t feasible to start the car for the daily treck to the post office (swyddfa bost).  So a walk is called for.

The view from the top of the track.

Looking down the track towards Merryhall

Llysdinam hall on the opposite hill.  Merryhall and the Wye are in the valley

Looking the other way from the Wye towards Dol y fan our local hill with Merryhall in the foreground.   The view from the back gate.
