Frozen peas

Strange old year “weatherwise” (dislike that habit of adding “wise” to words – my temperaturewise rises). Almost no rain in April and now times more rain than an average May. Decided to put the peas and french beans out and now for the second morning a temperaturewise of two degrees.

Looking out at five-thirty this morning and dawn has broken, the mist is creeping up the river and rolling out into the fields.
