We are now short of barley straw, but Andrew, our supplier at Pen y Bont, is not expected for a couple of weeks. To Andrew’s farm to get hay as a stop gap. Donkeys can put to much weight on if they only have hay, so straw is less nutritious but it is bulky which fills them up.
