This is the view up-river.  Spot the lighter coloured shape on the shore line underneath the small branch going from right to left.

This is it closer up.  A tangle of a root ball and probably some other branches.  Size is difficult to portray but it must be about twenty feet long and in this image we are looking up it’s backside.  Imagine a man standing beside it and it must measure in excess of six feet – possible nine or ten.  The bulk is huge and it was carried and dumped there.
