Carnival

The last Saturday in June is always the Newbridge on Wye Carnival, and since January we’ve been on the important steering committee. There is a community charity shop in Llandod, which hosts local charities for a week- this week it’s our turn.

Yes, Sandie, it’s yours!

We made £200 or so in our morning session! Good to get back into retail.

“Customer”: How much are the jeans?

Me: £2.00

C: If they don’t fit can I bring them back?

Me: No

C: Oh! It’s like that is it?

Sold a couple of pairs of huge melon nets as well!
