Can spring be far behind?

Not quite what poet Percy Bysshe Shelley said, the full, correct, version that a poetryphile would recognise is “if winter comes can…”.  But as I’m not one of those, I had to look it up!

The storms have stormed, the winds have winded, and the rain has fallen, but brave little blooms are beginning to peep.
