A snowy drive…

To get straw. Across to Pen y Bont to get a bale (large obvs) for the Donks. We got 20 bales (small obvs) the week before Christmas, but the Donks have been less than enthusiastic for it. The answer seems to be get some more, different, and mix the two hoping to mask the bits they don’t like.

The drive across was not entirely enjoyable as, unusually, gritting hadn’t been carried out as it normally would, no doubt because the ice formed suddenly at about 07.30. There is also a steep and bendy road to the farm, but the Jeep handled it well.
