96 not out.

Joan’s birthday is officially not until Monday (1st. August – ED), but her son David, and his son Phil arranged a visit – a right Royal occasion! Accompanying David of course was Liz his wife, and Phil introduced us to the delightful Vicky who is his partner.

David had said he was treating us all to a meal out and the birthday girl more than lived up to that challenge demolishing a large fish and chips. We retired to Merryhall afterwards to have a slice of birthday cake made by Liz.

I’m supposed to eat that after my fish and chip meal?
